The location provided a short coastal walk to the town center. Fresh orange juice and pastries were delivered before breakfast. I found this detail very romantic! Our room included patio seats. It was perfect.
The hairdryer lacked a cold setting. The heat was intense.

The receptionist greeted me with a glass of champagne upon arrival. My room was equipped with every amenity I could need. The breakfast I pre-ordered was delicious and promptly served. The staff operated the bar on an honesty basis.
The overhead lighting in the lounge was a little harsh at times.

The first-floor room had a large bay window. The bathroom features thoughtful touches such as night lighting. The room also offers thistle-themed wallpaper on the ceiling, Scottish atmosphere, adding to the charm.

underwhelming stay
cramped room locked lounge
the room felt a bit stuffy and cramped. i practically needed a miner's helmet to make tea. plus the residents' lounge? locked up tighter than fort knox after 11 pm. guess i'm stuck perching on the bed if i want to unwind

Really good Stay, Attention to Detail!

We enjoyed our time in the 'Beautiful Double Room Sea View'. Fresh pastries and juice arrived at the door each morning. The hotel is nicely presented! I recommend this hotel. I hope to return soon.
The lounge light was too bright one evening. I found it a bit harsh.

salmon breakfast sea view
i thought the breakfast was really superb this morning. i tried the scrambled eggs with salmon. the room was a seaview, and the view of the ferries coming into port was amazing.
the residents lounge got locked at 11 pm and there werent any comfortable chairs in the room so i had to sit on the bed.
